Ever since Riccardo Tisci took the helm of Burberry earlier this year, the London-based label has reinvented its commercially-safe moniker into one of the world's most progressive fashion houses. For his premiere Ready-to-Wear show, Tisci created a sleek and sophisticated collection inspired by Burberry's roots in the historic British bourgeois. The looks featured asymmetrical cuts, layered camel and nudes tones, and heavy helpings of metal hardware. We at Clayton Gray Home loved this fresh take on tailored sartorialism and wanted to see if we could recreate the runway looks with pieces in our own curated collection. Here's what we found: 1. We love the intersecting linear and curved lines of the Worlds Away Mona Counter Stool in Cream Velvet and Nickel. The structure and openness of it reminds us of this pleated a-line skirt in a similar cream-colored silk. 2. Any woman who can rock a men's suit is a boss in our eyes, and this three-piece sharkskin gray suit from Burberry is a perfect example of why. Similar to the Worlds Away Wrenn Chair in Grey Velvet and Bronze, this suit emanates modernism, refinement, and class. 3. First of all, how cute is this look? We can't get over how GORG this shirt/dress combination is, but when you look at all of the contrasting patterns, it is undeniably beautiful. To recreate this look, we would style a group of our Polka Dots and Ocelot Pillows together on the stunning Arteriors Home Stevens Sofa in Platinum Boulce Grey Ash.
