Last week, gorgeous young models strut across golden sand beaches in the heart of Paris for Chanel's annual Spring-Summer Ready-to-Wear show. This season's looks were set by the sea, complete with a set of sand dunes, real waves and a French lifeguard, but even with such an extravagant Summer set, nothing outshined the couture of Mademoiselle Chanel. Cream tweeds, quilted black leathers and white pearls glittered down the natural runway, looking even more fashion-forward than usual when paired with their woven Provençal hats. The look was elegant, sophisticated and completely timeless—sentiments we've come to expect from Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel collections. Although we still pray everyday in the hopes of a Chanel home furnishings line, our Design team has pulled together some of our favorite new and best-selling pieces to recreate this seaside fantasy... and we think Karl would be proud. Inspired by the luxurious pattered fabrics of these iconic suits, we sourced our Elis Bench for its woven white suede and the Braided Fringe Pouf for its textural details. To complement the collection's more structured elements, we chose our new Rimini Pendant, made with woven layers of contrasting black and cream rattan, and our beveled Hierarchy Console Table in gray mango wood. And finally for a touch of fun, our gorgeous Casey Mirror in braided rattan is the perfect match to the models' sea-dwelling headpieces.
