Clayton Gray Home Makes $1,500 Worth of Donations to Local Women’s Charity in Celebration of ‘For Her’ Month

In the spirit of a month-long campaign to celebrate women, Clayton Gray Home, a Tampa-based home decor and lighting shop, has made $1,500 worth of in-kind and monetary donations to The Spring of Tampa Bay. Clayton Gray Home’s campaign, titled ‘For Her,’ was inspired by Mother’s Day and seeks to celebrate all women including sisters, aunts, wives, grandmothers and friends. The campaign will last through May 31st.

For several decades,The Spring of Tampa Bay has sought to prevent domestic violence and protect victims and their children in Tampa and beyond. The monetary donation provided by Clayton Gray Home will benefit The Spring’s life-saving programs including its emergency shelter, the kids team, economic empowerment and more. Additionally, the in-kind contributions, consisting of items from the Clayton Gray Home shop, will be sent to the charity’s local thrift stores where survivors pick out items for their new home after leaving The Spring’s shelter. 

The choice to donate to The Spring of Tampa Bay was fitting as both the charity and  Clayton Gray Home are women-owned. Throughout the month, Clayton Gray Home will highlight The Spring of Tampa Bay, women-owned businesses and Wendy Garraty, the shop’s founder, across social media. 

“When putting together the ‘For Her’ campaign for the month of May, working with The Spring made perfect sense because of the great work they do for women, by women,” said Clayton Gray Home founder, Wendy Garraty. “We’re excited to continue to partner with The Spring and celebrate inspirational women in our lives this month and beyond,” said Garraty. 

Another crucial piece of the ‘For Her’ campaign will be Clayton Gray Home’s event on May 7th at their South Tampa shop. The event falls right before Mother’s Day and will be a great time to gather the women in our lives for ‘A Day at The Shop for Her.’
