Dipper Sconce Black Marble

The Dipper Sconce Black Marble from Arteriors Home draws from deco vocabulary without surrendering to period pastiche. A backplate of black marble anchors the fixture while a frosted opal glass globe suspends below, catching and diffusing light in a way that softens the surrounding wall. The chattered antique plated steel hardware speaks to deliberate craft.

Proportionally restrained, the Dipper occupies visual weight without demanding the room's attention. Placed as a pair flanking a mirror, the sconces create a gentle symmetry that frames reflection without overwhelming it. The marble's natural veining becomes visible only as light moves across the surface throughout the day. This is a fixture that rewards being lived with rather than merely installed, its quiet presence strengthening the sense of intentional composition in a thoughtfully designed interior.
