Hans Chandelier Bronze

The Hans Chandelier in Bronze from Arteriors Home draws its vocabulary from jewelry design, where proportion and material restraint create presence. A drum shade of matte swirl glass wraps around the fixture in ribboned layers, catching light as it moves through a room. The globes sit mounted across two tiers of English bronze-plated iron, suspended on a slim pipe that reads almost weightless against the visual density of the glass. 

The double brightness of the integrated LED system means the piece functions equally well as ambient light or as a focal point above a dining table. In a room with high ceilings, the vertical compression of the two-tier structure creates an unexpected intimacy. Placed above a console in an entry, the swirled glass casts soft, diffused shadows that shift throughout the day.

The matte finish of the glass prevents glare while allowing the bronze to develop its own patina over time. This is a fixture that settles into a space rather than announces itself, working as well in a minimal interior as in a room layered with texture and collected objects. Twelve integrated LED bulbs. Damp-rated, although limited covered outdoor areas may affect finish.
