The Hanya Statue from Villa & House is a ribbon of shimmering impasto surfaces that trace a beautiful line. The sculpture takes inspiration from early 20th-century Futurism. This avant-garde art movement had boundless faith in revolution and progress in part because it developed largely outside of traditional art capitals.
