Antibes Flush Mount White

The Antibes Flush Mount in White by Currey and Company suspends a woven rattan shade from a delicate wrought iron frame, the natural fiber bleached to a soft cream against crisp white metal. Hand-woven using traditional techniques, the rattan catches and diffuses light in gentle patterns across a ceiling, creating an atmosphere that shifts subtly throughout the day. The acrylic diffuser softens the glow from two interior lights, ensuring the illumination feels ambient rather than harsh. In a bedroom corner or entry, it reads as understated rather than decorative.

The fixture's restrained geometry allows it to integrate into various interiors without demanding attention, yet its textured surface and warm material presence prevent it from disappearing entirely. This is the kind of light you notice not by looking directly at it, but by noticing how it affects the room itself, casting soft shadows that suggest depth and dimension without sharp definition. The Antibes brings quiet craftsmanship to overhead lighting.
