Ivory Lacquer Box Set of 2

Currey and Company's Ivory Lacquer Box Set of 2 presents a study in restraint and finish. The paired boxes nest within each other, their wood forms surrendering entirely to lacquer that catches light with an almost liquid sheen. Crisp ivory surfaces meet narrow black rims, a graphic gesture that anchors the composition without overwhelming it. The traditional lacquer process builds depth into what appears effortless, transforming simple geometry into an object that rewards close observation from any angle in a room.

These boxes occupy the quiet territory between functional storage and sculptural form. They work equally well stacked on a shelf, arranged on a table, or used to gather small items without announcing themselves. The ivory and black palette allows them to slip into existing schemes or provide a composed counterpoint to warmer tones. The lacquer's reflective quality means they respond to available light throughout the day, never reading quite the same way twice.
