Lithos Candle Holder Black Marble Set of 2

Currey and Company's Lithos candle holders are carved from black marquina marble, a stone whose natural veining transforms simple geometry into something alive. The material itself becomes the design. Each holder presents the stone's characteristic interplay of deep black and crisp white, the veins running through the marble like deliberate brushstrokes across the surface. Because no two pieces of stone are identical, each candle holder arrives subtly distinct, its personality emerging from millions of years of formation rather than industrial precision.

Placed on a shelf or console, these holders anchor a moment of stillness. The weight and cool surface of marble naturally slow the eye. A candle lit within catches the stone's striations, creating soft shadow play across the surrounding surface. The set of two works equally well arranged as a pair or placed at different points within a room, their quiet presence suggesting intention without demanding attention.
