Purcell Wall Sconce Antique Gold

The Purcell Wall Sconce in Antique Gold by Currey and Company curves outward from the wall in a folded iron form, its mustard gold finish deepened by pressed linear textures that catch light subtly. The dark ochre ombré shade graduates from white at the crown to deep gold at the base, creating a soft chromatic shift as light passes through. The bulb sits centered within this color field, so the glow intensifies toward warm amber tones at the bottom. In a bedroom or hallway, the sconce casts a gentle wash of light that softens edges rather than illuminates sharply. Its proportions feel restrained, allowing it to sit quietly beside a mirror or above a console without demanding visual weight.

The dimmable fixture adapts to different times of day and moods, shifting from a bright accent to a nearly ambient presence. Whether flanking a bathroom mirror or marking an entryway, the Purcell settles into a room with understated elegance, its color and texture suggesting depth without assertion.
