Stone Vase Set Travertine

The Stone Vase Set Travertine by Currey and Company presents two hand-carved vessels with the austere presence of brutalist sculpture. Each form emerges from solid travertine, its surface bearing the natural variation and tactile warmth that stone develops through patient craftsmanship. The hollow tops and substantial bases create an asymmetrical silhouette that reads as purposeful rather than decorative. These objects possess considerable visual weight without demanding attention, settling into a room with the quiet authority of gallery pieces.

Designed as sculptural elements rather than functional containers, the set performs best as a still life arrangement on a console, shelf, or mantlepiece where their pitted surfaces catch shifting light throughout the day. The travertine's porous texture and neutral palette allow them to anchor compositions without competing with surrounding furnishings. Each set varies in character, the stone's natural markings ensuring no two are identical. Care is minimal. dust with a soft cloth and keep them away from moisture and harsh chemicals to preserve their surface.
