Dune Bowl Light Brown Medium

Marble naturally collects light, and the Dune Bowl in Light Brown demonstrates this beautifully. Designed by Kelly Wearstler for Serax, the bowl's sculpted form catches shadow in its recesses while its two-tone surface shifts subtly depending on how it sits in a room. The handmade quality means each bowl carries its own variations. On a shelf beside books or alone on a side table, it functions less as a statement piece and more as a quiet anchor, adding visual weight and textural interest without demanding attention.

The bowl's scale and organic contours suggest ancient pottery traditions, though its restrained modernism keeps it from feeling nostalgic. Its presence works best where there's room for it to breathe. Serax finishes many of their designs by hand, and these natural irregularities are integral to each bowl's character, making every version distinct.

*Serax has many designs that are finished by hand, this may lead to irregularities and is considered a part of the uniqueness of each piece.
