Angela Stool Rope

The Angela Stool in Rope by Made Goods commands attention through its honest construction and tactile presence. Handcrafted from abca rope, the form sits low and solid, drawing from utilitarian maritime traditions but refined for contemporary interiors. Its neutral fiber surface accepts light differently throughout the day, revealing the subtle texture of the weave. The Angela functions as flexible seating or an impromptu side table, accommodating the casual rhythms of lived-in spaces. Placed beside a sofa or tucked into a corner, it reads as both functional and sculptural.

The rope construction provides surprising comfort, soft yet structurally sound. Its modest footprint makes it useful in smaller rooms where conventional furniture might overwhelm. A conversation piece that doesn't announce itself, the Angela belongs in spaces where materials and quiet craftsmanship matter more than styling. *For indoor use only.
