Details
The Farryn Chandelier draws its character from wooden beads suspended in two graceful, undulating tiers. Made Goods conceived this fixture as a quiet anchor for a room, neither demanding attention nor fading into the background. The hand-strung beads are the heart of the design. Each one is threaded individually, a process that introduces subtle variation in spacing and natural wood tone.
No two fixtures are identical. Up close, the grain of each bead is distinct. From below, the rows dissolve into soft, layered texture. Light moves through the chandelier throughout the day. In morning sun, the beads become nearly translucent. By evening, they warm to amber. A slight air current causes them to shift almost imperceptibly, introducing quiet movement that prevents the fixture from feeling static.
The brass chain and canopy provide refined counterpoint. Their warmth complements the wood without competing for visual dominance. Every proportion is considered, every detail intentional. This chandelier belongs in spaces where restraint matters. It works above a dining table, in an entry hall, or in a bedroom where presence outweighs drama. The natural wood connects easily to other materials in a room: stone, plaster, linen, leather, without demanding a particular aesthetic.
Over time, the wood develops a deeper patina. A thin layer of dust settles between the beads, catching light in ways the bare wood never could. The fixture ages gracefully, becoming more beautiful as it accumulates the small marks of living. This is a piece designed to last, to become part of a home rather than decorate it.
