Isla Deep Drawer Buffet Natural Peeled Rattan

The Isla Deep Drawer Buffet Natural Peeled Rattan catches light differently depending on the hour, its woven surface shifting between warm honey and pale gold as the sun moves across a room. The peeled rattan reads as almost textile-like, with a softness that belies the structural integrity of the frame and the dense basket weave reinforcing the top and three drawers. Brass knobs punctuate the composition with restrained warmth, their patina developing over time alongside the wood.

Inside, two fixed shelves and three deep drawers absorb the visual clutter that accumulates in living, holding linens or serving pieces or the objects that migrate through a home. The proportions feel generous without dominating a wall, and the open legs create sight lines that prevent the piece from anchoring itself too heavily to the floor. When positioned against a textured wall or beside warm-toned artwork, the buffet settles into a room as if it has always belonged there.

Rattan's organic nature means each piece carries its own character, with variations in tone and grain creating subtle differences that only strengthen its presence. This buffet functions as both storage and object, the kind of furniture that improves with use and weathering, gaining patina rather than losing it.

*Variations in rattan to be expected.
