Isla Standing Cabinet White Peeled Rattan

The Isla Standing Cabinet arrives with an almost architectural precision. White peeled rattan wraps tightly around its frame, creating a visual anchor that's neither heavy nor delicate, while the sides employ a denser basket weave that reads almost textile in its texture. The door panels shift to a slightly looser weave, a subtle material variation that suggests intention without announcing it.

Inside, four fixed wood shelves wear the same tightly wrapped rattan edging that defines the exterior, a continuity that feels both restrained and generous. This interior consistency matters: when you open the doors to retrieve something, the eye follows the same language inward. The lower-patterned gold knobs sit warm against the natural tones, a quiet note of presence that doesn't compete with the rattan's surface.

Positioned in a room, the cabinet occupies space with a kind of calm clarity. Light moves across its woven surface throughout the day, the basket patterns shifting between dimensional and flat depending on the hour. It works equally at rest against a wall or floating within an open plan, its proportions and restrained color palette allowing surrounding furnishings to breathe.
