Lima Chandelier

The Lima Chandelier in White Texture by Palecek arrives as a study in restraint and material contrast. Cast fiberglass forms the body, its surface left unadorned to catch light without demanding it. Beneath, a pewter and gold finish creates subtle depth, visible only when the eye travels upward or when afternoon sun shifts across the ceiling.

Hand-wrapped split rattan in whitewash wraps the metal poles with deliberate texture. This layering of material—smooth fiberglass against woven natural fiber—gives the piece presence without weight. The proportions feel considered rather than decorative, the kind of fixture that anchors a room without announcing itself. In a lived space, the Lima reads differently depending on the hour. Morning light passes through the rattan wrapping and casts soft shadows on the ceiling plane.

At dusk, the fixture becomes a sculptural object, its geometry more apparent. The whitewash finish keeps the piece from competing with walls or artwork, allowing it to function as both functional object and spatial punctuation. The chandelier comes with a metal hanging canopy kit for installation.
