Dune Bowl High Brown

Kelly Wearstler's Dune Bowl High Brown arrives as a sculptural object that rewards close observation. Carved from marble, its surface shifts between matte and high gloss finishes, creating subtle shadows that deepen as light moves across the form. The raised, undulating edges suggest windswept terrain, a reference to natural geometry that feels both ancient and contemporary. The brown marble grounds the piece visually, warm enough to complement earthy interiors while sophisticated enough to anchor minimalist spaces. Placed on a shelf or low table, the bowl's shallow depth and substantial presence read as more contemplative than functional, an object that invites touch and rewards placement where light can emphasize its textured surface. The hand-finished quality means each bowl carries its own subtle variations in veining and surface character.

*Many designs that are finished by hand may lead to irregularities and is considered a part of the uniqueness of each piece.
