Bertram Game Table Sand

The Bertram Game Table in Sand by Villa & House balances a generous square top with a finely measured profile, bringing the warmth of oak to a room without overwhelming it. Its chevron-patterned veneer is laid by hand, drawing attention to the grain’s varied markings. Beneath, quarter-sawn solid oak legs are carved and sanded to a taper, with double-sided coving that lends the silhouette a quiet sense of detail. Hand-cast brushed brass drawer pulls and sabot accents add a subtle contrast to the pale finish.

Four asymmetrical drawers extend across two-thirds of each side, creating an unusual rhythm around the table while making considered use of its storage space. Veneer interiors and soft-closing glides keep cards, game pieces, or everyday items neatly tucked away. In an eat-in kitchen, it can serve as a compact dining surface; in a home office, as a practical desk. After dinner, a deck of cards can settle into one of the drawers, leaving the table clear and the room composed.
