Pears Statue Set of 2 Bronze

The Pears Statue Set of 2 in Bronze by Villa & House consists of two hand-cast metal forms that read as understated still life. Each pear tapers toward a stem with paired leaves, their surfaces alive with mottled patches of warm gold breaking through dark bronze. The two castings vary in proportion, one rounder and fuller, the other more tapered with leaves opened outward, creating a natural asymmetry when placed together. Felted pads protect the surface beneath each form.

On a console or dining table, these sculptures establish quiet presence without demanding attention. The irregular patina deepens with time and light, shifting subtly across the day as shadows move through a room. Rather than a statement of abundance, they suggest something observed and carefully kept, a moment of restraint in the language of domestic decoration.
